I teach so I can touch the future, touch the heart of every boy and girl, and everyday change the world!

I am in my 24th year of teaching early childhood all in the central Iowa area.  This is my 11^th year teaching Kindergarten in Ankeny.  I have also taught private preschool, public preschool, Head Start, Kindergarten, Third Grade, and Title One Reading/Math.  My bachelor’s degree in education is from Northwest Missouri State University.  I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Drake University.  My hobbies include any activities my own children are involved in, including:  show choir, marching band, theater productions, choir, drum group, and youth group.  As a family we enjoy church activities, camping, traveling, playing board and card games, and reading.
